The Kozo Studio Workshop Programme Continues!!
Following our successful course on Silk Fibre Papermaking workshop in February (it was great inspiration and fun for all involved) - we continue with a one day introductory workshop on BATIK techniques:
BATIK Workshop
26th March, Saturday, 10am - 5pm
at The Studio, Bennettsbridge, Co. Kilkenny
This full day workshop introduces basic traditional and contemporary techniques in Batik processes.
Batik is an ancient fabric dyeing technique where hot wax is applied in layers as a resist on cloth. Participants will create unique pieces with up to three layers of "wax drawings' (pure bees wax and paraffin) and fibre reactive textile dyes.
Fee: only € 65 for the day, including all art materials used
