Basket-Weaving Workshops - with Cathy Hayden
Cathy has been working with willow for almost 30 years and will teach traditional weaving techniques. Participants will take home 2 or 3 practical and attractive baskets.
DATES: Saturday 12th, Sunday 13th May and Saturday 19th May

Silk Fibre Paper Making Workshops - with Tunde Toth
A three day course introducing a number of contemporary techniques of Silk Fibre Papermaking. Using a variety of raw silk fibres (cocoon strippings, throwsters fibres, hand-dyed silk tops etc.) and plant materials participants will create textured, plain or colourful, decorated, 'fabric-like' silk fibre papers and sculptural pieces.
DATES: 9th, 16th, 23rd of June 2012 (Saturdays) 10am to 4pm daily
